Deborah is engaged in all aspects of claims arising from separation and divorce. She specializes in the negotiation of marriage, separation, and domestic contracts, issues of custody and access, and property division, including complex financial and business matters. She has significant trial experience, particularly in custody litigation.
Throughout her career, Deborah has held various teaching positions; she has presented to visiting judges from China on family law at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Business, is also a former instructor for the Ontario Bar Admission course, and participates in panels for the Law Society of Upper Canada. Deborah recently co-authored a chapter about evidence and the Family Law Rules which appears in Evidence in Family Law, published in 2010.
Deborah is a supporter of many charitable causes, including Out of the Cold and breast cancer awareness.
