AJ Jakubowska

AJ graduated with a law degree from the University of Windsor and holds a Bachelors in History and Political Science and a Masters degree in Medieval History from the University of Toronto. Her thesis focused on the abandonment of children in early modern Europe.

AJ has practiced exclusively in the area of family law since her call to the Bar in 1996. She has worked in a team setting with several of the country's top family lawyers, and deals with all aspects of claims arising from separation and divorce. She has extensive experience in litigation, mediation and arbitration, as well as in handling complex and emotionally-sensitive matters.

In addition to working in association with Niman Zemans Gelgoot, AJ maintains her own family law practice in Newmarket, Ontario.

AJ is an avid photographer and enjoys photographing things few people notice while rushing through their everyday lives.
